Another FABULOUS week at Spectrum WASP fundraising for Comic Relief.
We started off the week just right with a bake sale at our coffee morning and we ended it with our Teens Club at the driving range @ Ramsdale Park Golf Centre 🏌🏼‍♂
Whilst having all this fun we managed to raise an amazing £54.18!
Congratulations to our competition winner Karen H who guessed which cake was Shirley Ballas’ favourite – Double Choc delight. You’ve won a ‘Cup of Positivi-Tea’, a red nose and a lanyard 🤩

We would like to Say a ‘HUGE Thank You’ to everyone for their support today and to All Our Spectrum/Wasp Families who Popped by to support the Day .. and Our Volunteers .. Hannah/Andrea/Michelle who helped support our Table/Stand .. Our ‘Teen’s Club’ who were Amazing on the half hour Cycle Ride to help keep it going with the Team at the Four Seasons throughout the Day .. we’ve had a Brilliant Day .. the Families/ Customers who Donated were just wonderful .. See you All again on Saturday December 4th when we will be Fundraising again .. with Our ‘Awareness Day and ‘12 Days of Christmas Raffle’ with some Fantastic Prizes to be Won … See you then .. A Special ‘Thanks’ also goes to Rachael B from DFS our Guest of the Day who came over to Speak with Parents/Friends about the Work DFS do within the Community with their Apprenticeship Scheme for Young People and also about the DFS Production/Products/Opportunities.. Rachael also brought along ‘Recycling’ for Spectrum/Wasp which raised £24 on the day .. so a Wonderful Morning was held at Spectrum/Wasp Base @ Pine House A, Ransom Wood.. ‘Thank You’ to Everyone again for Supporting

 We are going to cover as many ‘MILES’ as possible…Ask, Family, Friends, Work Colleagues, School Friends and Neighbours to Support and Donate… whether it be A Family Walk, Running, Swimming or Cycling…There is also an opportunity to Cycle on the Fitness Bike in the Four Seasons throughout the Week/Weekend Commencing Monday 20th September to Sunday 26th, Let us see if we can Raise as much as we can Working together…Our Last Fundraiser raised over £800, Can we beat that TOTAL???      Half of the monies will go to Great Ormond Street & Half to Spectrum/Wasp…Pop into The Four Seasons on Saturday September 25th and enjoy the Tombola Stall, and Cycle on the Fitness Bike, any Volunteer help on the Day would be Wonderful.

Last Tuesday we popped along to Warsop Ex Service Men`s Club to Say a `HUGE` THANK YOU!!! To Heather`s Parents Sue & John along with Maureen & Jean and ALL the wonderful customers who visit the club and support us throughout the year. They have raised a FABOLOUS amount of £1593.50!!! This includes £1183.50 raised on our Tombola we held in The Four Seasons Shopping Centre on 30/11/2019 also selling Mug & Sweets and doing there own Raffle on the night raising another £410.00. We can not Thank you enough for all your kindness in supporting our wonderful Children`s Charity. Thank you from the bottom of our Hearts.

]]> A Big Thank You https://spectrumwasp.org/a-big-thank-you/ Wed, 22 May 2019 10:24:00 +0000 https://spectrumwasp.org/?p=700 Simon and Clare came along today on May 22nd 2019 to visit our Base at Pine House…They wanted to see and speak with us about the wonderful work we do with our lovely Local Children/Families in the Community at Spectrum Wasp…Simon and Clare  very kindly presented Spectrum Wasp with a Cheque for £675 to help support future activities for Spectrum Wasp Children/Young People…We were just thrilled to receive such a generous donation from ‘The Caravan & Camping Club from The Edges & Dales Walk’…We can not ‘Thank’ them enough with this amazing Donation.
