Good Friday April 2^nd – Pine House will be Buzzing for Easter with Children/Families Collecting our ‘Seed, Sow, Grow’ Project, along with Heather LIVE on our FaceBook Page Drawing our Easter Raffle Fundraiser. Then in the Evening Alan Dawson’s Headstocks Theatre Group Live on Zoom showcasing ‘Marshmallow Sky’ for Autism Awareness Week for All Spectrum/Wasp Families to enjoy .. it’s an Amazing Play that was first performed at The Palace Theatre in 2013 which l was lucky enough to go and see…more info to follow…

Spring has sprung @ Spectrum Wasp & Easter is on its way!!

Here at Spectrum/Wasp we are planning some wonderful Easter Fun Activities for ALL to get involved in…So keep an Eye out for that ‘EGG..STATIC’ Easter News’ ..it’s going to be an ‘Egg..cellent’ Time for us All..

We hope All our Children, Young People and Siblings will bring out their Creative ideas in getting involved with ‘Poetry’ For ALL, with Alan Dawson, Our Decorating Planters/Pots Competition, Easter Raffle Fundraiser with Heather, Family Friday Bingo for Comic Relief and our Super Easter ‘Drive By’ at Pine House on Good Friday to Collect your next ‘Four Season Challenge’ …What’s that l here you say?… It’s so Exciting for Myself and Jeni to be looking forward to planning this year’s Adventures at Spectrum/Wasp as Lockdown Restrictions start to ease… We hope to be Sharing some wonderful news soon through our Activity Programme, Teen’s Club, going Out/About…and Working in Partnership through …Children in Need with our ‘Pudsey Parcel’?… Clue ‘DFS’…

‘HAPPY EASTER’ Everyone ….What a Fabulous’ Day We’ve had today ‘Surprising’ our Amazing Children/Young People for Easter .. doing a ‘Door Step Easter Drop…. just by Buzzing by … for over 50 Families .. giving out over 90+ Surprise’s for Children on their ‘Door Steps’ … its been Fabulous to see all your ‘Smiles’ and waves at the windows from the photos/videos you’ve sent over this afternoon .. to show how we are All Staying home .. and Looking after each other .. Jeni and l would like to say a ‘BIG Thanks’ to Marg and Sam for the help/support we had with our drop today .. Here are some of the wonderful photos/videos we’ve received to share with everyone at Spectrum/Wasp .. ‘Thank U’ … for making our ‘Easter’ too ..

Heather has put together while she is self isolating our ‘Big Easter Raffle’ .. which has raised a wonderful Total of £150 for our wonderful Spectrum/Wasp Children’s Charity which supports Children/Young People on the Autistic Spectrum with Special and Additional Needs ..

Friday Night Teens Club! We had the lovely Sue visit us from Suzie Fusion. We made Easter Arts and Crafts, lovely time had by all! We had another Birthday this week. A big “Happy Birthday” to Kelling who turns 12 next week.

Spectrum WASP would like to say a very big “Thank You” to one of our lovely steering group Mum’s Heather who has been working alongside the Ex-Servicemen’s club in Warsop to help put together an Egg-travaganza “Easter Chocolate Raffle” with an amazing selection of “Easter Egg Hampers and chocolate sweetie cones”

The raffle was drawn on Tuesday 9th April in Warsop and we are delighted to annouce the grand total raised was £346 on the raffle and £105 on the sweetie cones…

We cannot thank everyone enough for the continued support in helping us fund raise for our amazing Children and Young people to enjoy continued fun activities…
